June gone by...

June 2013

I always say that putting together the garden each year is like a wedding, with the planning and invitations. That being said, I think June is the height of the ceremony, and the early roses and delphiniums the honored guests.  Now, further into July, we are getting ready for the party in August...When the dance of dahlias and sunflowers starts.   Soon thereafter, everyone will have had to much nitrogen and sunshine to drink, and the usual suspects will become seedy and crawl into the wrong beds.  Until them, I am hosting this party, with the moon bride and sol groom merging closer and closer,  till they separate again with the next Solstice.
