Jim's niece had this lovely baby girl, and his new chicken Josephine laid an egg. He seems excited by both.

Jim has built a fine chicken house out of found scrap lumber and old windows, and yesterday we picked up Ophelia and Penelope. Then I did some bouquets for a cool banquet that my friend Liz's 13 yo granddaughter and friends organized. One of their classmates died of cancer, so they formed a foundation called the Pinkpolkadots, at www.pinkpolkadots.com, to raise money for families facing cancer.l
